A Trip To Boston

Holly and I made plans to take a trip to Boston and hang out for a 3-day weekend, so we planned the little vacation and a few months later we were about to explore the land of New England.

Photobucket
I always look this cool while waiting for my flight.

Photobucket
Then I ran into some merchandise that was clearly cooler than me so I felt intimidated.

Photobucket
Just look how cool these are! I can't compete with that.

As I walked through the airport I discovered an amazing thing.....

Photobucket
I arrived in Boston at about 11:40pm and I was greeted by a few Boston children, which made me come to the conclusion that Boston children suffer from insomnia.

Photobucket
I walked through several hedges trying to find my way through the city.....

Photobucket
.....and I eventually found the place I would be staying for a few nights, which I would be judging carefully to be certain that it deserves such a prestigious name.

Photobucket
Holly and Brian snuck up behind me before shoving me into the inn.

Photobucket
Holly was happy to get a Tinker Bell fanny pack, but was even more excited to find a manatee magnet inside!

Photobucket
Holly opens the door and my brother, Michael, showed up hiding behind his sleeping bag unexpectedly.

Photobucket
Michael loves the camera.

Photobucket
We woke up the next morning seeing this.....

Photobucket
.....and we all had a great start that morning!

Photobucket
Judging by the size of my mouth I think this inn was pretty freakin' friendly.

Photobucket
Brian and Holly lead the way to wherever we were going.

Photobucket
Michael and I tagged along from behind.

Photobucket
Brian points out the direction where he would like to walk, but Holly is not sold on the plan.

Photobucket
While they were figuring things out I amused myself with street alarms.

Photobucket
We walked on a bridge and I looked away from the view because it was grossing me out.

Photobucket
It's so gross!

Photobucket
Holly walks in the other direction because this bridge is way too long.

Photobucket
I stayed out of it and took another picture.

Photobucket
Once Holly was convinced that we should keep walking on the other side of the bridge we were on our way!

Photobucket
But then she went to cling on to Brian after we got off the bridge because we were in the neighborhood where all the Boston thugs hang out.

Photobucket
I wasn't too worried and Michael just looked at the ground to ignore any thug behavior that might occur.

Photobucket
Holly tries to be sneaky and takes a quick shot.

Photobucket
Then I told her if she tried a stunt like that again I would call on the Boston thugs.

Photobucket
She didn't believe I would do it, but I would have...I would have.

Photobucket
This is how we looked liked the whole time walking in the grand city of Boston.

Photobucket
Michael just realized he hadn't given my camera the New York City greeting yet, so he had to get that out of the way.

Photobucket
Holly also realized she did not give my camera her Green Bay greeting, so she also had to get that out of the way.

Photobucket
As we continued on our walk we saw the fanciest 7-Eleven complete with Highlander-Redwood leather couches and Colonial chandeliers.

Photobucket
Holly loves small doors more than you will ever know.

Photobucket
Besides standing next to small doors, Holly also enjoys Michael's poo jokes.

Photobucket
We eventually entered into a strange land.....

Photobucket
.....known as the Boston Common.

Photobucket
As you can see, everyone was in awe of all its beauty.

Photobucket
I was mostly in awe of the maintenance crew.

Photobucket
We found a much better view later on.....

Photobucket
.....but Holly refused to look at it.

Photobucket
Michael tells a disturbing horror story that involves a giant lump of excrement.

Photobucket
The story was so horrific that Holly almost couldn't take it.

Photobucket
Holly and Brian found a much larger map so they discarded their smaller one for now.

Photobucket
Holly communicates where she would like to go by pointing at things on the map rather than speaking.

Photobucket
Me and Michael get in the way of a good shot of The State Building.

Photobucket
Here is the building showing off it's fancy gold plated roof.

Photobucket
We continued our stroll through the park.....

Photobucket
......and ended up at a grave yard where Paul Revere rests daily and nightly!

Photobucket
Grave yards always provide a great pick-me-up!

Photobucket
This particular grave was closed off due to illegal activities that had recently occurred.

Photobucket
Michael was about to yell on the other side of the grave yard to disturb the peace.

Photobucket
This be the grave of a landlubber who escaped on a jollyboat after making a many of blaggards about the Cap'n and fer stealin' his spyglass which was used to handsomely find the booty, but the thief was captured and then pillaged before he saw the end of his days.

Photobucket
John Hancock had a lot of concrete lying around so he made sure it was put to good use before he died.

Photobucket
Holly and Brian start a little party in the grave yard!

Photobucket
Behold! It is Paul Revere's memorial and all it's glory.

Photobucket
Behold! It is Paul Revere's tombstone and all it's glory.

Photobucket
Michael and Holly pointed the way towards an exit.

Photobucket
We got out safely and Holly and Brian studied the less impressive dinky Boston map once again.

Photobucket
I never knew the true meaning of trapped until I wandered the narrow roads of Boston.....

Photobucket
.....but a colonial soldier told me and Michael that there is nothing to be afraid of here on these narrow streets.

Photobucket
I asked the colonial soldier for a digital photograph, but he did not know what the word "digital" meant and looked away in fear.

Photobucket
Michael and Holly stood around trying to figure out what to do next.....

Photobucket
.....so we went to the hottest spot in town.

Photobucket
We discovered Paul Revere's secret stairway in the back and Brian started up the party.

Photobucket
Me and Michael treated the back alley more like "Club Revere," so we hung back and chilled out.

Photobucket
We all headed out because the party was getting a little lame since the stairway wasn't that impressive.

Photobucket
What a dump!

Photobucket
The best part about visiting the house was when I stole one of Paul Revere's pipes in the display case when no one was looking.

Photobucket
It was nice to leave the house and get our minds off of Paul Revere until we stumbled upon this statue down the road.

Photobucket
We also stumbled upon another grave yard but Michael and Holly were bummed out that it was closed after 5:00pm.

Photobucket
So Michael and I played around with lobster toys instead.

Photobucket
And then Michael had to dish out another New York City greeting because it's been a while.

Photobucket
But while he was kindly give me his favorite gesture he accidentally fell into a fake boiling pot.

Photobucket
Holly and Brian went in to save him but they first had to get use to the temperature.

Photobucket
The next day was nice and sunny, which aggravated Michael just a tad.

Photobucket
I knew the cityscape was right behind me but I did not want to look.....

Photobucket
.....because of it's intimidating immensity!

Photobucket
So we left the city for a while and ended up on a small island with a lighthouse.

Photobucket
The city looked to be almost pocket-sized, so I was able to handle that for the most part.

Photobucket
We're ready to explore the island for a little bit.

Photobucket
But first, Michael must take a picture with his camera and crush it with his hand at the same time.

Photobucket
Michael carefully watches his footing on this treacherous island.

Photobucket
I was impressed with this lighthouse and how bright it would shine out to sea.....

Photobucket
.....although I was not impressed with the regular house because it didn't do much other than take up space and look invisible at night.

Photobucket
I sat down in the closest uncomfortable chair I could find.....

Photobucket
.....and took in the spectacular view of the silky shore.

Photobucket
Michael thought this was some kind of bomb, so he might as well get on it and ride it like Slim Pickens.

Photobucket
Holly watches and is amused how crazy Michael looks sitting on something so ridiculous.

Photobucket
If Michael had a bell-shaped head it would probably looks something like this.

Photobucket
Michael and I smile for the camera with such enthusiasm.

Photobucket
Holly makes her way up to the top of the lighthouse.

Photobucket
It was kinda cool to see.

Photobucket
Holly was clearly not enjoying this moment.

Photobucket
And I clearly don't know how to smile normally.

Photobucket
Michael wanted to punch me in the back for taking stupid pictures, but he restrained himself for now since he didn't want anything to break other than my bones.

Photobucket
The view outside revealed a little bit of the silky shore, but mostly just the rigid Boston sea.

Photobucket
The actual light inside wasn't really that bright at all.

Photobucket
It was pretty lame.

Photobucket
And it became more lame over time.

Photobucket
Holly begins to pout because of the lame light bulb that could barely scorch anyone's eyes.

Photobucket
But no one paid attention to her and we all kept taking pictures.

Photobucket
Then I just realized that I might be scared of heights.....

Photobucket
.....and Holly just laughed at my stupidity.

Photobucket
Brian wasn't sure if the ladder acted like and escalator and Holly just watched.

Photobucket
It was time to say goodbye so I puckered up and gave it a kiss...and then made out.

Photobucket
Holly took her time going down the stairs while looking at me.....

Photobucket
......but then she tripped and I watched her tumble all the way down.

Photobucket
Holly seemed to be okay so I guess that was a good thing.

Photobucket
Michael didn't know what to say about that.

Photobucket
I didn't know what to say either so I pointed at what we were just inside.

Photobucket
We took a group shot along with the lighthouse blue prints that we stole.

Photobucket
I softly expressed my feelings of not wanting to head back to the enormous city of Boston.....

Photobucket
.....but again, Holly just laughed at my stupidity.

Photobucket
Michael made a comment about how he liked the island better than the city as well, but Holly was gracious enough to give him a warning this time to not tick her off.

Photobucket
After about a forty minute boat ride we made it back into the city.....

Photobucket
.....and it was a blast!

Photobucket
As nightfall came, both myself and Michael were on our guard from any crazy ladies.

Photobucket
SHE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!!

Photobucket
After appearing out of the darkness, Holly continues to read up on fun facts about Boston.....

Photobucket
.....and I tried to keep my cool from skeleton paintings.

Photobucket
The next day it was time to say goodbye to the most impolite inn I had ever stayed at and go home.

Photobucket
Michael and I are about to go our separate ways......

Photobucket
.....but he had to give me one last greeting.

Photobucket
But I was able to get a good one as well.

Photobucket
After saying goodbye to Michael he stood there in a creepily position for the remainder of the day.

Photobucket
I walked around the airport in Boston not really knowing if I would find my way back to Orlando.....

Photobucket
.....but when I saw this hunk of plastic sticking out of the wall I knew I was very close to home.

Photobucket
Then I found Ray.....

Photobucket
.....and Julie.....

Photobucket
.....and Christian!

Photobucket
I talked to all of them about the trip and I also told Ray that he should be thankful for the weather in Florida because it's much colder up there compared to the A/C in the car.

The End.
