So I know I've posted quite a few blogs on SeaWorld, but Javan and I took one last trip to the park before my pass expires at the end of the month. It was an enjoyable day. And guess what? I took a few pictures. Enjoy these final SeaWorld snapshots of 2009!
Javan makes smiling underwater a lot easier than what it looks.
We headed over to the Shamu Stadium and saw this little guy warm up for the limbo act later on.
A trainer is "going green" by using a sea animals as a mode of transportation.
A killer whale tries to make a break for it while the crowd continued to applaud and take pictures...including me.
Javan decided to get a sketch.
First the head.
Then add a Spider-Man body and a shark in the scene.
Lastly, its time to finish up the color.
Javan's reaction to the masterpiece was a good one.
Drawing my big fat head is a difficult task.
Still working on the head.
Almost done with the head.
Now its time for the scene.
Finally, add color!
I also had a good reaction.
Javan gets a little apprehensive when surrounded by stingrays.....
.....but he's okay with flamingos.
I never know how to react with a wall full of plush animals.
Javan overcame his fear of stingrays and gave one a high five.
While Javan was getting acquainted with the stingrays I passed the time by mimicking fake sea turtles.
Another trainer was "going green" with the help of a few dolphins instead of taking the subway like a sucker.
This dolphin was desperate for attention so it kept jumping for applause until it's ego was filled to the brim.
We couldn't go to SeaWorld without riding Kraken.
We had a pretty good laugh as we nearly plunged to our deaths.
I may send this out in this year's Christmas card.
We spotted a big fat Christmas ornament and had to get one of these shots.
It was a fun day. Seriously, it really was a fun day.
THE END!!!!!
